Printing graphics has become a mature production technology. The graphic industry has become experts in accurate dispensing of pigmented ink on paper substrates, with stunning graphics as a result. But the term ‘printing’ is changing. Other industries have discovered and recognized the power of printing as a new production technology. As a result, new forms of print communication are rising.

As an innovation center for graphic communication, VIGC explores these new ways of print communication. Adding functional elements as NFC-tags, printed OLED’s and image codes to graphic products, will create new values for consumers and producers. Designers and printing companies should embrace these developments to reach new higher levels. VIGC offers support by publishing white papers, organizing events and introduction courses. Road maps are available for interested companies to explore future integration in their products and processes. Don’t miss the future!
